After realizing that too many newly qualified chefs entering the industry for the first time lack the basic skills to function properly in professional kitchens and find it difficult to deliver the standard of work expected by employers and executive chefs, Peter and long-time colleague, friend and fellow chef, Angie Boyd collaborated to launch their own professional chef training school in Cape Town, called the Sense of Taste Chef School.

The Sense of Taste Chef School has since established a reputation as Cape Town’s most dynamic and personalized chef school. Sense of Taste Chef School offers two full time Professional Chef Courses, both internationally accredited by City & Guilds.
